Carpeted Tile provides large decor bonus and stress reduction at the cost of reducing duplicant run speed.
Usage
Carpeted Tile can be used to increase the Decor values of rooms. When building Carpeted Tile, selecting Granite as building material will add +20% bonus to decor values.
Walking over Carpeted Tiles gives duplicants a runspeed penalty of 25%, but also the Tickled Tootsies effect, which results in a -15%/cycle stress reduction for 15 seconds. This also applies if they are not actually moving or even touching the ground - so sleeping in a Cot on Carpeted Tiles also gives this buff.
Trivia
Duplicants cannot get the "Tickled Tootsies" effect when Sopping Wet or have Soggy Feet.
