Critter Drop-Off allows duplicants to move a captured critter to a different location. Creatures can be captured using a Critter Trap and a duplicant with Ranching skill or by being wrangled directly by a duplicant with Ranching skill.
It is possible to set a limit of Critters. Once the room is filled with that many critters no more will be dropped off. However, if new critters hatch from eggs, any excess of critters need to be handled by the Critter Pick-Up.
Critter Drop-Off is not required for the Stable and can be placed anywhere.
Tips
- This building has a base overheat temperature of 75 °C167 °F and will overheat in Oil Biome if built with Copper Ore or Iron Ore. Choose Gold Amalgam as the building material instead.
- The Drop-Off limit cannot be higher than 40 critters. To go higher, separate rooms with separate Critter Drop-Offs are required.
- The Critter Drop-Off is considered "flooded" in any amount of liquid and will then cease to function; keep dry to avoid this.
