It's designed for land critters, but flopping fish sometimes find their way in too.

Critter Trap is a building that will catch non-flying critters that walk into the trap. Duplicants can then take the bagged creature to a nearby Critter Drop-Off.
A critter is captured only when it enters the bottom left tile of Critter Trap.
Gold Amalgam, Steel or better should be used if one aims to capture Slicksters since their natural habitat may be well over the overheat temperature of Critter Traps made from lesser materials. Alternatively, collecting their eggs or building a stable downside might be a simpler option.
Critter traps are capable of catching flopping Pacu.
Tips
- Critter Traps are reusable and can be deconstructed to refund their material cost, like most other buildings.
- The older version of this building, created in versions of the game prior to the Song of the Moo Update, was single-use only and did not refund its material cost; it was also constructed from 200 kg of Plastics, which presented difficulties when used in hot environments.
