Peat Burner
Red: Disable
Peat Burner is a generator that uses in order to produce power and has carbon dioxide and polluted water as byproducts.
Use
Like other generators, the output mass temperature is dependent on the Building Temperature rather than the Input Temperature.
One Peat Burner can be fueled by feeding 3 Lumbs. Recycling the Polluted Water from the Peat Burner with a Water Sieve will produce 89% of the Water needed to produce the Ovagro Figs to feed the same 3 Lumbs, requiring an addition of only 15 kg/cycle of water per Peat Burner (plus 24 kg/cycle of Filtration Medium for the Water Sieve).
Note that Ovagro Nodes are only capable of supporting 2 Lumbs each (and only if allowed to grow all 24 vines each can support), so the optimal ratio for such a setup is 2 Peat Burners to 3 Ovagro Nodes to 6 Lumbs, producing 960W of power for a net input of 30 kg/cycle Water and 48 kg/cycle Filtration Medium, or 32W per 1 kg/cycle of water.
By comparison, a basic Oil Well -> Oil Refinery -> Petroleum and Natural Gas Generator setup produces roughly 9.23W per 1 kg/cycle of water. An optimized petroleum power setup is net positive on water, but requires substantially more research, setup complexity, and advanced materials.
