Pitcher Pump
Duplicants can only carry liquids that are bottled.
Pitcher Pump pumps Liquid below it into bottles for transport. Duplicants can only carry bottled liquids. A Liquid Bottler is required to supply buildings that require liquids, but do not have piping intakes.
The building itself is 2 tiles wide and 4 tiles tall. The building will automatically expand up to 4 tiles deep into the liquid below the pump. The bottler can't expand into foreground buildings, such as Liquid Pumps or Ladders.
Hovering over it with the mouse displays how much liquid is accessible. This includes only the tiles actually within the pump's reach (maximum 2 x 5 tiles). When the pump is in a larger pool, the actual available amount is obviously much larger, since liquid from the surrounding pool will keep flowing in.
When multiple liquids are located in Liquid Bottler's reach, the Duplicants will be able to separate them. The building will work with non-water liquids; it can be used to pump liquid Chlorine or Phosphorus.

- Exosuit Forge (bottled Petroleum in recipe)
- Bottle Emptier and Bottle Drainer (auto-bottling enabled to deliver from Pitcher Pump)
Tips
- Removing unwanted liquid from a pool can be done by using Pitcher Pump and auto-bottling Bottle Emptier.
- For example, large amount of Polluted Water in Water pool that cannot be mopped or floating Visco-Gel and Oil.
- Duplicants will try to deliver multiple supply errands together. Use Pitcher Pump and 4 side-by-side Bottle Emptiers to reach maximum manually transport efficiency from one pool to another. (800 kg per run)
- Making auto-bottling Bottle Emptier suddenly unreachable to drop the bottle from duplicants is an efficient way to automate liquid bottling. This is useful for generating Polluted Oxygen from Polluted Water bottles.
- Other ways for liquid bottling included emptying pipes and deconstructing full Liquid Reservoir, and
pumping liquid into a Liquid Cargo Tank via a Liquid Rocket Port Loader or a Spacefarer Module with a Liquid Intake Fitting.

- The Pump only exchanges heat with the two tiles that make up the "platform" that the duplicant stands on. This allows for some particularly absurd feats, such as using it to collect bottles of Magma or even Liquid Tungsten.
- Pitcher Pump cannot flood, and can be used even while completely submerged.
- Auto-Sweepers can deliver liquid Metals from a Pitcher Pump to a Bottle Emptier or a Bottle Drainer, but cannot deliver any other liquid. This can be useful in certain Metal Volcano taming setups where Liquid Pumps would overheat in molten metal.
