Rust Deoxidizer is an alternative method of Oxygen production utilizing Rust Biomes materials. Although it does not produce as much Oxygen as the Electrolyzer, it uses only half the power and serves as a source of Iron Ore.

The Rust Deoxidizer outputs resources at a minimum temperature of 75 °C / 167 °F (or higher if the inputs were hotter). It is an inherently heat multiplying building, since its output's THC is about 1.5 times bigger than its input's.

Tips

  • The output Chlorine can be absorbed by Dasha Saltvine planted nearby. One constantly running Rust Deoxidizer will require exactly 5 Saltvines to remove all Chlorine. This will recover around 36% of spent salt if Saltvines are domesticated, or 6% with wild ones.
