Sauna is used during downtime to improve a duplicants' morale. Despite being a recreational building, it does not need to be in a recreational room. A duplicant spends 30 seconds in the sauna.

The Morale bonus is called "Steam Powered", adds +2 morale and lasts 4 cycles

Tips

• The Sauna can work as an efficient method to destroy heat, since the water that is being output is fixed at 80 °C / 176 °F no matter how hot is the steam that is being input. The Sauna produce a very small amount of heat waste on use as well, making it easy to manage on its own. Combined with a Hot Tub, the output water can also be used to supply the Hot Tub, which can cool the water even further.
