Is it accurate that air scrubbers and algae terrariums purify contaminated oxygen, as is stated on this page? Neither have that ability mentioned either on their page or stats.
Similarly, the claim that air filters can be used to purify contaminated oxygen is misleading. "Purify" implies that the contamination is removed, resulting in regular oxygen, which is not something the filter is capable of. It simply allows you to take a mixture of various gases and filter one out, such as contaminated oxygen, but does nit actually reduce it in any way.
It seems the section on purification is fairly misleading or immaculate. It also fails to mention one of the other few actual means of purifying contaminated oxygen by cooling it to the point where the contaminant falls out of suspension, then reheating the oxygen to its gas form again.

Cooling down to liquid form sounds better? not really needs reheating, just dump on the floor added deodorizers, changed for pollutted dirt produce/process. added diseases. ~ Champein
