Interstellar Research is the third tier of Research points. Interstellar Research is necessary to unlock Rocketry structures more advanced than Steam Engine Rocket. Interstellar Research Points are obtainable by a Duplicant with Astronomy Skill to research at Virtual Planetarium, which consumes Data Banks collected with Research Modules from successful Space Missions.
