Excavation is an attribute of a duplicant.

Effects	Trained
For each level of this attribute, the duplicant gets: +25% digging speed +5% attack damage	The duplicants can increase this attribute by: Doing the Dig errand Doing the Combat errand
Skills	Traits
This attribute can be raised with the following skills: Hard Digging (+2) Superhard Digging (+2) Superduperhard Digging (+2)	Mole Hands (+3) Early Bird (+2, but only in the morning) Night Owl (+3, but only during night)
Other
Wearing Atmo Suit or Jet Suit (+10) The Spores (-10)

Tips

Despite being linked to Excavation for damage, combat errands do not increase Excavation.
