Nutrient Bars are food items. The Ration Box at the start of the game contains 20 kg (16000 kcal) of Nutrient Bars.

Nutrient Bars cannot be made by Duplicants, but the Printing Pod can also sometimes offer more Nutrient Bars as a care package. 1 kg of Nutrient Bars also can be found in Vending Machines by rummaging inside it.

Nutrient Bars never spoil.

Nutrient Bars can only be consumed directly, there are no recipes using them as an ingredient.

Like other foods that can't expire, Nutrient Bars cannot be composted.
