Usage

Adult aquatic critters with access to a Water Fort will regularly relax in it and get the Cozy buff, a temporary +1 happiness bonus for 1 cycle. All 9 tiles need to be inside liquid for the Water Fort to function.

A tame, ungroomed, cozy Pokeshell will have a total happiness of 0 and therefore use their base reproduction and metabolism. This allows you to ranch them for their sand output without needing dupe labor, unless you also want the extra eggs.

Wild critters will also use the Water Fort, but this doesn't change their reproduction speed or their metabolism rate.
