Crashed Satellites are naturally occurring buildings found in the Irradiated Forest Asteroid and asteroids with the Crashed Satellites World Trait. They emit a large amount of radiation which can be helpful for Radbolt collection but this can also pose a health risk to duplicants.
They can be rummaged through for 4 to 10 Data Banks along with one of the following:
- 3 additional Data Banks
- 3 Wort Seeds
- 3 Morbs and 1 otherwise unobtainable Atmo Suit made out of dirt.
Radiation Emission
Crashed Satellites emit 2400 rads per cycle (Extreme Hazard), originating at the bottom center tile and lose approximately 200 rads per cycle per tile outwards.
This is helpful at providing consistent radiation for easy plant mutation or to Radbolt Generators.
