Lore

Oxygen Not Included's lore can be found as personal emails, Log Entries, Investigations, Research Notes, Journals, and Company Notices in the in-game database.

Those can be collected by inspecting certain buildings in the Ruins (and also the Printing Pod). Each building type delivers a specific type of records. They can be re-inspected on each map reload, and will deliver new records of their class until they are exhausted.

Lore unlocks are save-game independent and, once obtained, are recorded in the unlocks.json file, which is stored adjacent to the save_files folder and keybindings file.
