Nosh Bean
The Nosh Bean is both seed and product of Nosh Sprout.
How to obtain
It can be obtained by harvesting or uprooting Nosh Sprout or by digging up Buried Objects within the Rust Biome.
There is no way to gain Nosh Beans if the chosen Asteroid Type does not generate the Rusts. If all Nosh Beans spoil or are eaten, there is no way to renew them. If stored in a sterile, deep-frozen environment, Nosh Beans can be preserved indefinitely. Alternatively, they can be stored by having them be planted.
Usage
Seed
Nosh Bean can be planted in Planter Boxes, Farm Tiles, and Hydroponic Farms. When the plant reaches maturity 12 Nosh Bean can be harvested.
Critter Food
Since the February 2024 QoL Update, Pacu can eat 1 Unit/cycle.
Recipes
As a food ingredient it is unedible while raw, but can be cooked into various foods or crushed into Brackene.
