Sleet Wheat Grain
Sleet Wheat Grain is produced by Sleet Wheat every 18 Cycles. Harvesting Sleet Wheat yields 18 Sleet Wheat Grains. Sleet Wheat is inedible when unprepared.
Unlike all other foods and ingredients, Sleet Wheat Grain is Deep Frozen below 10°C and Refrigerated below 35°C. If it is frozen and in a sterile gas, it will be preserved indefinitely. However, if it is in oxygen or polluted oxygen it will decay at -3% and -6% per cycle respectively. Therefore, when harvesting the wild sleet wheat found in the frozen biome, it is desirable to extract all the oxygen and polluted oxygen to ensure the grain does not rot. This is a good strategy in the early game to ensure a constant supply of sleet wheat grain.
Plants
Each Sleet Wheat Grain can be planted to grow a new plant and should only be planted in a sub-zero environment as well as supplied with nearly freezing water due to requiring an internal temperature of 5°C or less to grow.
