Switch is an Automation building which can disable a single Wire segment. It does not need a foundation to be built.
Tips
- As nearly all power consumers can be disabled by an Automation grid, the switch quickly becomes redundant once Refined Metal is available.
- Signal Switch or Sensors and Automation Wires may require less Resources than a switch, depending on the distance to and number of consumers.
Trivia
- Before AP-395113, Switches and Signal Switches required Duplicant operation, and player controlled Switches had to be made by connecting Power Shutoff to Sensors.
