An Alternative Refinery is Crude Oil refinery, which converts it into Petroleum at a ratio without loss of mass.
It does not require duplicant operation.
The disadvantages of Alt. Refinery is a really slow conversion rate (~0.2 kg/s)
Construction
Screenshots below show how to construct this Refinery (Hover over them with the mouse to see the description).
Requirements:
- 25 Tiles (Abyssalite)(Using insulated tiles here, but if it's from abyssalite it's not a big difference.)
- 1 normal Tile (Obsidian)
- One Liquid Pump (Gold Amalgam)
- One Liquid Vent
- One Liquid Valve
- Insulated Liquid Pipes (from Abyssalite)
- Piping and wiring
At first you need to find an opening similar to that.
Than you need to build structure like this or similar. Set the valve to 1999 g/s (If you set it to higher value some of the Petroleum will turn into Natural Gas) and the filter to filter out Crude Oil.
