Hypothermia is a temporary status affliction that affects a Duplicant if their Body Temperature drops to 34°C (93.2°F) or below. There are no remedies, but resting on a Triage Cot slightly (~10%) speeds up recovery.[confirmation?]
Hypothermia is most likely to afflict a Duplicant in an environment of elements with high Thermal Conductivity that are below 34°C (93.2°F), such as Water (even just a tiny amount) or even Hydrogen Gas. It also tends to occur during prolonged stays in a Frozen Biome.
A similar status, Heat Stroke, afflicts a Duplicant when their Body Temperature is high rather than low.

Tips
- Equipping dupes with Warm Coats will provide some relief to chronically freezing colony.
- Atmo Suits or Jet Suits almost completely prevent thermal-related afflictions.
- (Most likely a bug) Duplicants will re-catch hypothermia when loading a save with cold Duplicants.
