The Triage Cot restores 50 points of a Duplicant's health per cycle, 1% of their breath per second and 10% stress per cycle. While a Duplicant lays on the Triage Cot they are considered to be sleeping and another Duplicant can treat the patient to give them the "Receiving treatment" buff, which improves Triage Cot's effects to 75 health and 20% stress per cycle.
A Duplicant who reached 0 hp is incapacitated and will need to be rescued to a Triage Cot by other Duplicants. A Triage Cot assigned to a wounded Duplicant will become unassigned if said Duplicant reaches full health.
Tips
- Breath: +1%/s counteracts the effects of Slimelung or allows treating Duplicants without Slimelung in Oxygen-free environments as "Holding breath" only causes -0.9%/s
- Duplicants sleeping on the Triage Cot are not disturbed by light, allowing an attending Duplicant to benefit from the Lit Workspace buff (though it does not heal the patient any faster).[1]
- Triage Cots function outside Hospital rooms without any penalty
Trivia
- "Receiving treatment" is temporary replaced with "Runaway patient" when the dupe is not on the Triage Cot
- In older versions Triage Cots are considered both beds and medical equipment for rooms, causing them to conflict with themself when trying to create bedrooms.
