One of several Attributes a Duplicant possesses. It determines the speed at which actions such as operating machinery and fabricating items and resources are completed. Affected errands include: Space Mission, Generate Power, Tinker, Operational Supply, Use Fan, Train, Power Supply, Depressurizing an Oil Well, Fabricate, and Fabrication Supply.

For each level of this attribute, the duplicant gets: +10% tinkering, repairing, and fabrication speed +2.5% engie's tune-up duration	The duplicants can increase this attribute by: Performing successful space missions Using Manual Generators Using microchips to soup-up power supplies Operating Ice-E Fans Fabricating items and resources at Metal Refineries, Apothecaries, Microbe Mushers, Electric Grills, and other such buildings

• Before the Launch Update, this attributes name was Tinkering.
• Despite being associated with research, the production rate of the Orbital Data Collection Lab is affected by the duplicant's Machinery attribute, rather than Science attribute.
