Terrania Asteroid

This is one of the three selectable starting planetoids for the Spaced Out! Style.

A balanced variety of resources on a smaller world. Terra Asteriods have everything needed to start a colony in a compact area. With a short distance to the surface, inner-world travel can be achieved quickly.

The Terrania Asteroid is a small starting asteroid with a Sandstone Biome start. The starting area is surrounded by Marsh, Jungle, Barren, Wasteland and Tundra Biomes with the Magma Biome at the bottom.

Selecting this planetoid to start on will also spawn an Irradiated Forest Asteroid and an Oily Swamp Asteroid.

Strategy

Despite the flavour text the distance to the surface is the same on all three starting asteroids. Its infinite water source is a Cool Steam Vent or two. It slowly gets hotter over time, providing a familiar challenge. Wasteland Biome contains sulfur, Sweetles, and Spindly Grubfruit Plants. The hot Barren Biome near the bottom which contains some free refined Iron. If you want to get any oil, you must go to the Rusty Oil Asteroid, although you can acquire plastic via glossy dreckos.
