The Solid Oxidizer Tank is a rocket module that stores the oxygen needed for the engines to work in the vacuum of space in the form of oxylite. The mass of oxylite carried can be adjusted between 0 kg and 2700 kg. The oxylite and petroleum are burnt at a 1:1 mass ratio, so one completely full solid oxidizer tank is enough for three full Liquid Fuel Tanks.
A gantry is required for Duplicants to make deliveries to this module.
Oxidizer tanks (either solid or liquid) are required by the Petroleum Engine and Hydrogen Engine.
Bugs
- Duplicants may sometimes not deliver oxylite to the Solid Oxidizer Tank - reason is unknown. Fix: Restart the game.
