Liquid Oxygen is the Liquid state of Oxygen.

Usage

Liquid Oxygen can be used as an oxidizer for Petroleum and Hydrogen Engines.

Production

Liquid Oxygen is produced by cooling down Oxygen to -185.96 °C (liquefaction point - 3 °C). This generally involves use of Super Coolant, or can be done less efficiently with cold Hydrogen gas.

  • Due to the considerable difference between the freezing and vaporization points, it is possible to use Liquid Oxygen to cool Oxygen with an Aquatuner. Although this is (much) less efficient than using Super Coolant, it has higher output than using cold Hydrogen gas for the same amount of space used.
    • However, power consumption is much higher, due to the use of the Aquatuner.
