Liquid Element Sensor
Sends a Green Signal when the selected Liquid is detected on this sensor's tile.
Sends a Red Signal when the selected Liquid is not present.
Sends a Red Signal when the selected Liquid is not present.
These sensors can detect the presence of a specific liquid and alter systems accordingly.

Red: Selected liquid not detected
Red: Selected liquid not detected

Liquid Element Sensor outputs a Green signal when immersed in the selected Liquid, otherwise it outputs a Red signal. It will always produce a Red signal if not immersed in Liquid. Most commonly connected to a Liquid Pump or Liquid Shutoff.
Since the Sensor cannot occupy the exact same tile as the Liquid Pump it is automating, it is best used in combination with a Liquid Filter when sending liquids to sensitive buildings, like an Oil Refinery.
Tips
- Since Liquids tend to mix much less often than Gasses, the Hydro Sensor is typically better for automating liquid flow, such as turning off a pump when a Salt Water Vent is not erupting.
