A Solo Spacefarer Nosecone's interior has 28 tiles of space in a cone shape, and comes with a Rocket Control Station inside. Contrary to its description, an unlimited number of duplicants can travel in this Command Module.

Tips

  • Before sending Duplicants to travel between Planetoids they should get skill scrubbed and only get the needed skills, to not have too high morale requirements.
  • It is advised for the player to research Rocket Fittings and use Gas or Liquid cargo tanks in order to save space and carry necessary life-sustaining materials.
  • It is also advised for the player to deconstruct the Rocket Control Station and place it as one sees fit for the way they are building the interior.
  • It is possible to put a Telescope next to the bottom window on the left and reveal space with it while voyaging.
  • When limiting yourself to the Solo Spacefarer's nosecone, it is strongly recommended to have exterior modules handle the life support instead of putting them on board, at minimum, essentials like Wall Toilet, Fridge, Rocket Control Station would already take 9 tiles of two dimensional space, and 4 floor spaces that standing buildings needs, with no additional tiles put in, that leaves just 2 tiles of floor spaces left, 1 if you need vertical travel to higher tiles.
  • Instead of ladders, players should consider Manual/Mechanized Airlocks for vertical traversal. A horizontal airlock one tile above the floor will allow the dupe to climb on top from the inside, a vertical one can be climbed from its sides. Unlike ladders, buildings can stand on a closed airlock, allowing you more floor tiles to work with. However, Rocket Control Station must not be placed atop an airlock, as each time it opens and closes, it goes back to auto pilot.
