Edit message: Add Frosty Planet Imperative, add icons, reformulate, Update for 618499 changes (and some earlier changes to achievement names) Achievements[1][2] are various short-term and long-term goals and challenges. Achievements are tracked by each colony within the Colony Summary screen, as well as globally through Platform Achievements.

Platform Achievements are disabled on saves with Sandbox mode or Debug mode enabled (indicated by a red "X" in the Colony Summary screen), but are not disabled by Mods.

Selecting an achievement in the Colony Summary screen shows detailed progress towards that achievement.

Some achievements have certain conditions that will permanently disqualify the achievement if broken. Disqualified achievements are indicated by their text and icon being extra gray.

There are two types of Achievements: Imperatives and Initiatives.

List of Imperatives

Imperatives are long-term goals. They can be considered a primary objective of the colony, and their completion represents a significant step towards long-term safety, stability, and sustainability.

List of Initiatives

Initiatives are smaller objectives that are not as essential to the colony's survival. Some serve as challenges, while others serve as short-term goals and are almost guaranteed to be incidentally unlocked during a colony's development.

And nowhere to go And Nowhere to Go Have 8 Duplicants wear non-default clothing simultaneously.
Critter whisperer Critter Whisperer Find and tame one of every critter species in the world. Default morphs only.
Some reservations Some Reservations Improve Duplicant Morale by designating 4 areas as Nature Reserve.
No place like clone No Place Like Clone Have at least 20 living Duplicants living in the colony at one time.
Moovin on up Moovin' On Up Find and tame a Gassy Moo.
Not 0k but pretty cool Not 0K, But Pretty Cool Reduce the temperature of a building to 6 Kelvin (~ -267° Celsius, only evaluated directly after loading a savegame!).
Carnivore Carnivore Have Duplicants eat 400,000kcal of critter meat before the 100th cycle.
Locavore Locavore Have Duplicants consume 400,000kcal of food without planting any seeds in Planter Boxes, Farm Tiles, or Hydroponic Farms.
Super sustainable Super Sustainable Generate 240,000kJ of power without using coal, natural gas, petrol or wood generators.
Outdoor renovations Outdoor Renovations Construct a building outside the initial starting biome.
Totally tubular Totally Tubular Have Duplicants travel 10,000m by Transit Tube.

They got better They Got Better Cure a sick Duplicant of disease.
Finely tuned machine Finely Tuned Machine Perform 100 Tune Ups on power generators.
Pulling back the veil Pulling Back The Veil Reveal 80% of map by exploring outside the starting biome.
Down the hatch Down the Hatch Produce 10 t of refined metal by ranching Smooth Hatches.
Immovable object Immovable Object Block a meteor from hitting your base using a Bunker Door.
Easy livin Easy Livin' Have Auto-Sweepers complete more deliveries to machines than Duplicants over 5 cycles.
Job suitability Job Suitability For 10 cycles in a row, have every Duplicant in the colony complete at least one errand while wearing an Exosuit.
First teleport of call This content was added in Spaced OutFirst Teleport of Call Teleport a Duplicant and defrost a Friend on another world.
Soft launch This content was added in Spaced OutSoft Launch Build a launchpad on a world without a teleporter.
