Fish Trap is a trap used to capture fish (i.e. Pacus and their fry). Once captured, a Duplicant will bring it to a Fish Release.

Tips

• Fish Traps are reusable and can be deconstructed to refund their material cost, like most other buildings.
  • The older version of this building, created in versions of the game prior to the Song of the Moo Update, was single-use only and did not refund its material cost; it was also constructed from 200 kg of Plastics, which presented difficulties when used in hot environments.
• While the tooltip only mentions swimming Pacu, Fish Traps can also capture Pacus in their flopping state on land (e.g. after they have been printed in the Printing Pod).
  • Critter Traps can also capture flopping Pacu.
