Transit Tube Crossing allows a Tube System to go through walls. The Transit Tube Crossing takes the place of a wall tile and then connects to Transit Tubes on both of its sides.
Tips
- Similarly to Transit Tubes, Transit Tube Crossings are made of Plastic and have the same low melting point. Do not run them in areas over 159.9°C or else they will melt into Naphtha.
- Tube Crossing cannot serve as an exit from tube-network, it has to be connected to properly directed segments of Transit Tubes.
- Using two tiles of Transit Tube Crossing connected together will stabilize their temperature against each other and counteract their property of seemingly absorbing heat from space vacuum until eventually melting.
- Transit Tube Crossing acts as a solid tile and do not leak liquids or gases - as shown in the screenshots below. They can withstand up to 1400 kg of pressure.
- Having two adjacent Transit Tube Crossings will not connect them. There has to be at least two tiles between the Crossings.
- Cannot be used to built across Heavi-Watt Joint Plate or Heavi-Watt Conductive Joint Plate (last Checked AP-420700)
