Window Tile is made from Transparent materials. Unlike normal tiles, they allow Light and Decor to pass through.

Tips

• Diamond Window Tiles are one of the best ways to transfer heat, and 8 times more resource-efficient than Tempshift Plates.
  • They are also generally superior to Metal Tiles - only Cobalt, Aluminum, and Thermium offer greater Thermal Conductivity, with only the last suitable for handling Magma.
• Window tiles block 10% of light passing through them, making them less than ideal for solar panel setups.
• Diamond window tiles are able to withstand the heat of objects from the asteroid's surface. Glass window tiles can not, and so may require additional cooling if they're expected to be exposed to hot debris.
