Lamp improves Decor and reduces Stress by providing Light. It emits Light from its upper tile.
Usage
Lamp is mainly used early on to improve Decor, as they require first tier research and very little Power. They are also useful in low-height rooms where a Ceiling Light would be worse. Build one in the middle of your Algae Terrariums to improve their efficiency.
Bristle Blossom growth requires Light.
The working speed of machine operation can be increased by +15% when lit.
Mechanic
Because the Lamp emits Light from its upper tile, in order to get the maximum ground light radius it would technically need to be buried 1 tile into the ground.
