Water Cooler is a recreational building. A single Duplicant can use Water Cooler during downtime to slightly improve morale. Despite being a recreational building, it does not need to be in a Recreation Room.
Duplicants who use the Water Cooler to cool down will recieve the Heat Resistant buff (immunity against Toasty Surroundings) for 0.2 cycles.
Tips
- It requires a Pitcher Pump over a Water body to fill it.
- Water Coolers can give duplicants Food Poisoning if water carries its germs.
- Water Coolers are outperformed by most other drink-dispensing machines, e.g. Espresso Machines.
- Water Coolers have the advantage of having the quickest animations among these machines.
- Water Coolers can fill in as the required recreational building in an early Great Hall. Disabling the water cooler will still fulfill the room requirement and save on water.
Bugs
Water cooler currently does not provide +1 morale with water, however it does provide +2 with brackene.
