Plastium is an end-game heat-resistant building material.

Usage

Plastium increases the overheat temperature of buildings it's used to construct by 900 °C. It can be used to construct buildings in extremely hot environments.

Its main difference from Thermium (which also raises building's overheat temperature by 900 °C), aside from being terrible at heat transfer, is that it is a Generic Buildable, meaning it can be used to build Mini Liquid Pump, Mini Gas Pump, Plastic Tile or Steam Turbine (anything that can be built using heat-sensitive Plastic) that could not handle hot environments otherwise.

Keep in mind that Plastium isn't the Generic Buildable equivalent of Thermium in that, as said above, it isn't designed to allow for good heat exchanges like Thermium is.

Production

• Molecular Forge can produce Plastium from Thermium, Plastic and Brackwax:
  • 15 kg Thermium + 70 kg Plastic + 15 kg Brackwax = 100 kg Plastium.

Tips

Be careful when working around Magma with Plastium, since its sublimation point is around the same temperature as most of the Asteroid core's Magma.
