Salt is Consumable Ore found in Ocean Biome and Rust Biome. When refined to Table Salt, it can be eaten with meals to increase Duplicant Morale by 1.

Usage

Rust Deoxidizer can produce Oxygen, Chlorine, Iron Ore with Rust and Salt. 750 g/s Rust + 250 g/s Salt = 570 g/s Oxygen + 30 g/s Chlorine + 400 g/s Iron Ore.

Rock Crusher can refine Salt into Table Salt. 100 kg Salt = 5 g Table Salt + 100 kg Sand.

Emulsifier can produce Salt Water by using Water and Salt.

Also it can be used at average rate of 83.3 g/s per Geotuner to boost Geysers to increase Polluted Oxygen or Chlorine production

Salt is used to produce Bleach Stone in the Bleach Stone Hopper.

  • 30 kg salt + 500 g Gold = 10 kg Bleach Stone + 20 kg Sand

Production

Salt is available in Ocean Biome and Rust Biome.

Dasha Saltvine produces harvestable Salt by consuming Chlorine gas and Sand.

Desalinator can produce Salt from Salt Water or Brine.

5 kg/s Salt Water = 4650 g/s Water + 350 g/s Salt.
5 kg/s Brine = 3500 g/s Water + 1500 g/s Salt.

Heating Salt Water to 101.69 °C / 215.04 °F (vaporization point + 2 °C) can produce Steam (93% mass) and Salt (7% mass).

Heating Brine to 104.75 °C / 220.55 °F (vaporization point + 2 °C) can produce Steam (70% mass) and Salt (30% mass).

  • In Interstellar Oceans at a rate of 37.5 – 125 kg per cycle.
