Wood is the only element in the Wood Category of building materials. It can be harvested from Arbor Trees or Floxes, and by crushing the Molts of Oakshells, or by other natural sources.
Besides their use as building materials, where there are good Insulators, Wood can be used in the production of Heat and Power.
Usage

- Wood Burner can burn Wood to generate Power.
- 1.2 kg/s Wood = 300 W Power + 170 g/s Carbon Dioxide.
- Ethanol Distiller can produce Ethanol from Wood.
- 1 kg/s Wood = 500 g/s Ethanol + 333.33 g/s Polluted Dirt + 166.67 g/s Carbon Dioxide.
- Kiln can refine Wood into Refined Carbon.
Wood Heater consumes Wood as a Warming Station.
Production
- Arbor Trees and Bonbon Trees are a renewable source of Wood.
- Rock Crusher produces Wood from Oakshell Molt:
- 1 unit small Oakshell Molt = 10 kg Wood
- 1 unit (regular) Oakshell Molt = 100 kg Wood.
- Floxes can be sheared to make Wood.
Notes
- Wood is sometimes referred to with kg and sometimes with units.
- Wood is the only element in the Wood Category of building materials, like Reed Fiber is the only item in the Fiber Category.
